It's up to you if you want to have it set or not. Maybe impaired joints are less inviting to RA, so it might be worth leaving it alone. And you were right, Dad still gets a lot of mileage out of the broken finger story. On a final note, I read an article about clumsiness. Apparently, because we tend to be clumsy (inattentive to our surroundings) then we expect to have things happen and we become even more inattentive. It's a vicious cycle that we can overcome with extensive therapy or by forcing ourselves to pay attention to what we are doing. It's hard, because it's just one more thing to remember to do.
