It was almost as if I'd lost the phone number of a good friend, preventing us from a much needed talk. I picked up my second pocket-sized Moleskine yesterday. It has the high calling to capture all my thoughts that would otherwise go away and never come back. The book has its work cut out for it.

As for pens, I highly recommend the Pilot G2. What can I say? I like the gel. Also, they happen to be the perfect diameter to use as a stopper on an Indian made ceramic cone water filter.El Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02226359421411991053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12311172.post-22212214731062154172007-01-15T20:44:00.000-02:002007-01-15T20:44:00.000-02:00i'm glad to know i'm in good company...sue, i miss...i'm glad to know i'm in good company...sue, i miss you girl! get back to writing!

ali, you've got to try the larger, unlined moleskines...seriously, NOTHING beats these babies unless you're having something made-to-order from a master Nepali craftsman...and I too love sharpies. but they bleed...--jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02613132276745441850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12311172.post-41731562691900001162007-01-15T19:31:00.000-02:002007-01-15T19:31:00.000-02:00I must tell you that you sold me on trying the Zeb...I must tell you that you sold me on trying the Zebra pen. Oh, don't even get me started. For me it's rollerball all the way. I also like the fine-tip Sharpies, but they tend to dry out quickly on me.

Pens and paper are probably the least of my hobby obsessions these days, although at one time they did occupy front and center.Ali Ambrosiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00521627345210424042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12311172.post-85760460216775373382007-01-14T00:51:00.000-02:002007-01-14T00:51:00.000-02:00I bought a Moleskine in college, and have never be...I bought a Moleskine in college, and have never been content with any other journal that I have owned since. I had put off going back (in hopes of discovering a cheaper love), but I find that I never have words when I write in the inferior cousins I have tried. I think you may have inspired me to pay the extra pennies and buy one again, and perhaps be inspired to write again.
Oh - I am with you on the pens too! I can't tell you how many times I have tried to find the perfect pen, and shelled out way too much for pens I try once and never use again.
I miss having friends as crazy as I am...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
