Blog Things

First off, a big thanks to all my new followers! Glad you're enjoying what you found here...

I discovered the Stats tab on my Blogger dashboard yesterday. It's funny and bizarre to see all the numerical data related to my blogging lifetime. Here's one that combines both: my top search keywords. In order of popularity:

jennainrio.blogspot
bugigangas
how to make fake taxydermy
jenna rio
smoking weed outside

Yes. Google that last one and I appear on the first page. Who would have thunk it?!

I'm getting ready to launch a new posting schedule for the blog and am looking for some feedback from my readers. Now is the time to comment! Share your opinions! What topics or subjects would you like me to address in some future posts? Is there something you've been dying to know about life in Rio? Send me your suggestions and requests and I'll do my best to respond to them in a timely fashion...I can't promise that every suggestion will get a full post, but I'll give all of the ideas consideration.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

p.s. As you might be able to tell, I'm also experimenting with a new look. Comments on the design/layout are also welcome!

LOVE the pattern- beautiful! hate that it cuts the words off- if they could be brought to the front so that they are fully readable, that would be perfect.

So, I go to your blog almost daily (like I miss the wkends, sometimes) and somehow I "missed" the new design, which, by the way, I LOVE LOVE LOVE ---very easy to read, looks all "professional", etc.
congrats and all that!

and as to postings, I am interested in the side of Rio that doesn't Make the News --esp since every time now something "bad" happens there, it gets more coverage, which I attrib. to the upcoming olympics. The food stuff is always great -- stuff about the markets would be fun to read, and photos....
and you should go to the BEACH more often, and just post a photo....
:)
